Launching Something Bigger Than Us

WOW… what an incredible weekend!

Our Healing Words Kickoff Event was a HUGE success, and we are feeling so grateful for the amazing support from our community. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this event so special.

A big thank you to our generous sponsors who helped make this event possible:

Sounddawgs Production, SML Insiders, The Cottage Gate, Charlene Jones with Re/Max, Dana Montgomery with Berkshire Hathaway, Pearson & Son Contracting LLC, Blue Ridge Moving LLC, Duane Davis Foundation Inc., Southern Roofing & Restoration, Hot Shots Bar and Grill, Wilson Premier Properties, and Goodhue Boat Company. Your support means the world to us.

We are also incredibly thankful to those who donated items for our Silent Auction and to everyone who participated. The excitement around the auction, the generosity toward our mission, and everyone who jumped in on the 50/50 raffle truly helped make the night unforgettable.

A huge shoutout to the amazing musicians who kept the energy going all evening: Martin and Kelly, Big Daddy Ray, and Justin Prillaman. Your talent helped create such a fun and memorable atmosphere for everyone in attendance.

To our volunteers who stepped up and helped everything run smoothly, and to our family members who came out to lend a hand, we could not have done this without you. Your time, energy, and love made all the difference.

And finally, thank you to everyone who came out to support Healing Words. Whether you bid in the auction, bought raffle tickets, donated to our mission, or simply showed up to encourage us—you helped make this kickoff event an incredible success.

We are so excited about what’s ahead. Stay tuned for our first step in giving back to the transplant community, as well as announcements about upcoming events. This is just the beginning!

Thank you all for believing in our mission and being part of the Healing Words family.
